Burrowing Owl Preserve Tour at FAU-PBSC Boca Raton Campus Are you interested in learning more about the burrowing owls living on campus in the preserve? Join us on the PBSC Boca Raton campus for a tour of the FAU burrowing owl preserve. Bring you camera or binoculars to view these fascinating birds of prey.  The burrowing owls are crepuscular*, they will emerge from their burrow at sunset and begin their nightly hunt at dusk.  *Crepuscular animals are those that are active primarily during twilight.
