The Philosophy Club is Marching with the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Celebration of MLK

The Philosophy Club is Marching with the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Celebration of MLK We welcome all current and interested members to come along with us as we march for our first meeting of the semester in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. with the Ebenezer Baptist Church on January 20th starting at 9:30 am at 200 NE 11th Street, Boca Raton FL (just south of Glades between Dixie Highway and Federal Highway ending in Mizner Park around 10:00 am). The King Monument is on the grounds of the Church where the march will begin. All are welcome and encouraged to attend a hot breakfast before marching at 8:30 am for time to mingle and greet folks in the community and the food is excellent. There will be a photo taken right before the march all together at the community garden right there on the grounds. At the end of the march, there will be some keynote speakers, speeches, and performances that will make up this exciting ceremony.  Free parking is available at the church however carpooling is very much encouraged. A free trolly will be available to take marchers back to their cars at the church.  Marchers will receive community service hours and this also gives us the perfect opportunity to promote our club. This ceremony is used to holding about 2,300 attendees and is packed with fun like food vendors and a carnival all afternoon.  The Boca Museum of Art next door will also be open and is offering free admission. Can't wait to see you all there. From to at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
