BSU General Meeting! The Black Student Union (BSU) is a welcoming community that celebrates African heritage and fosters cultural awareness while building connections among students. Our mission is to create a space where students can engage in meaningful discussions, take part in cultural events, and contribute to the college and wider community. BSU is open to all students connected to the African diaspora, regardless of race, color, gender, or creed. Through diverse programming, leadership opportunities, and social engagement, we aim to empower students, promote unity, and support both academic and personal growth. - LPN Information Session ReviewLPN Information Session Review Licensed practical nurses make a real difference for patients every day in hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies and physician offices. The satisfaction of helping all types of patients, from an acutely ill elderly man to a new mother and baby, makes this in-demand profession very rewarding. Students learn current theories and gain a wide range of clinical experiences in local health care facilities, including in medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology and medication administration, geriatric and long-term care nursing, and obstetrical and pediatric nursing. Applicants must meet the criteria to enroll in this limited-access program, including passing entrance exams.
