Florida Summer - Opening Reception As an artist and art professor of both drawing, sculpture and foundational design at PBSC, Kristin Miller seeks to show the progression and experimentation of works inspired by the Florida landscape over time. "Florida Summer" abstractly captures light and reflection using drawing, watercolor, embroidery, cyanotypes and mixed media works on paper. Observational, layered drawings show the power of nature - our native plants and ocean shore providing an armature of quiet curiosity and capturing of diaphanous light. New work, "Sea/Sky: A Meeting Place" includes a paper installation created by the repetitive daily paintings of cloudscapes. From
