Haiku Day: An Echo of The Soul To celebrate the National Haiku Poetry Day on April 17, students will explore the beauty of the traditional Japanese poetic form known as haiku. Through this activity, they will connect with nature and their inner selves, expressing their observations and emotions through the art of Poetry.   Activity Overview:   Introduction to Haiku: There will be a brief presentation were students will be introduced to the concept of haiku poetry, what it is and its structure. Creative Expression: Students will then craft their own haikus, drawing inspirations from personal experiences and the natural world around them. Sharing Circle: The activity will end with a sharing session, where students can present their haikus to peers. That will help them connect with each other and appreciate diverse expression of writing poetic art.     Why Participate?   This activity encourages students to share stories through brief yet deep poetry.
