Georgeta Fondos Artist Talk & Discussion Panel Renowned Muralist and 2025 Helen M. Salzberg Visiting Artist Georgeta Fondos will present her life and artwork and will talk about the Mural she is painting with the three Koo Family Student Mentees this semester. After a Q&A, she will be joined by Professor de Beaufort and Professor Cespedes to discuss Inspiration: how to find it, how to focus it and channel it into action, and how to sustain and renew it over time. Students will be asked to find inspirational quotes to contribute to the Mural that Georgeta Fondos is creating and to add them to an Inspiration Tree.   Followed by the unveiling of the Inspiration Tree outside of the BB Building Have your tag with your inspirational quote ready to hang!   This session is part of the humanities conference Nurturing Minds|Empowering Lives: A Celebration of the Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, which takes place February 4-5 at the Palm Beach Gardens campus.  This two-day event contains a series of lectures, art shows, an open mic, and discussions available to all.  From Tuesday, February 4, 2025 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM EST at BB111 | Meldon Hall | Palm Beach Gardens campus.
