Supplementary Specimen Dissection and Suturing Demonstration Are you interested in dissecting preserved specimens? Join AMSA members for a dissections; we will dissect preserved cats, sheep hearts, sheep lungs, sheep kidneys, sheep liver, sheep trachea, sheep brain, cow eyes, bull testicle and pig uterus. This event is designed for pre-medical professionals, BSC2086L students, and for anyone interested in learning more about anatomy. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to participate and to dissect you will need to wear: gloves, mask, goggles, lab coat, and closed toe shoes. Without the required PPE students will not be permitted to dissect, they may view the dissection but they may not actively dissect nor touch the specimens. Students are REQUIRED to wear: gloves, mask, goggles, lab coat, and closed toe shoes. Failure to wear PPE will result in the student's dismissal from the dissection activity.
